• 1 pounds shrimp
• 3/4 cups flour
• 1/2 cans cornmeal
• 2 teaspoons paprika
• 1 teaspoons cayenne pepper
• 1 teaspoons thyme
• 1 teaspoons garlic powder
• 1 teaspoons onion powder
• 1 teaspoons salt
• 3/4 tablespoons buttermilk
• 1 egg
INSTRUCTIONS

1. Heat a couple inches of oil to 375 degrees in a sturdy pan.
2. Combine all dry ingredients in a shallow dish.
3. Combine buttermilk and egg in small bowl.
4. Dip raw shrimp into buttermilk mixture, dredge thru dry ingredients, shake off excess and place in hot oil, about 5-7 at a time.
5. They will cook very quickly. Remove with a slotted spoon to paper towel lined plate.
